The Cosmetology Industry Association of British Columbia (CIABC) is dedicated to the personal, creative and financial success of BC’s many talented beauty professionals.

As Canada's largest voluntary beauty association, CIABC represents and advocates for professional hairstylists, barbers, estheticians, nail technicians, salon and spa business owners, educators, beauty school owners, beauty school students, apprentices, manufacturers and wholesalers.

Education and certification are at the core of the association. Through education, we provide the tools for students to access their chosen field and for professionals to reach new heights in their career. In fact for over 80 years the CIABC (and its once regulated predecessor organizations) have overseen the development of the training curricula and certification of cosmetologists.

Today the association offers a range of benefits to members including professional development, networking, and a collective voice while continuing the ongoing commitment to elevate standards.
